Copper and Copper oxides
Copper is a chemical element with the symbol Cu (from Latin: cuprum). Copper oxide is a compound from the two elements copper and oxygen. It is a ductile metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity. Pure copper is soft and malleable. Copper oxide may refer to: Copper(I) oxide (cuprous oxide, Cu2O), a red powder and Copper(II) oxide (cupric oxide, CuO), a black powder.
